Our Story
Mitch and Cheri both come from families that have their own businesses so it's easy to say that business is in their blood. Mitch began his first cleaning business in Columbia, South Carolina in 1998 and later sold it to live and teach overseas.
Moving back to the US, they started Jonquil Carpet Cleaning and Restoration in Smyrna, Ga. As their business continued to grow they expanded their business in 2019 with the opening of their rug cleaning facility- Jonquil Rug Cleaning Company, located on the Smyrna side of Marietta.
Mitch is the Owner/Operator and has been professionally trained and certified to clean your carpets, upholstery, and tile according to IICRC industry standards. He also has a Master Rug Cleaner Certification to clean all types of rugs- from modern designer rugs to fine Oriental and Persian rugs from all over the world.
With the upward trend for more hard surfaces like hardwood floors, LVT, LVP, and Tile floors in homes these days, owning an area rug is a great practical and decorative option for homeowners and designers. Our full immersion wash will give your rug the exact cleaning it needs guaranteeing pet odor removal.
We specialize in Persian and Oriental wool rug cleaning as well as difficult fibers such as viscose, sisal and jute, dense shag rugs, and all types of synthetic fiber rug cleaning.
